69 AMC AMX, 390, 4-speed, Go pack, Hunter Green, Disc brakes, manual steering. This car needs finishing touches and someone to take it to the next level. To my knowledge car is very correct (will check #s if requested and post) 66000 miles and has never had a set of radial tires on it (tires are the first set owner had to buy and have great tread) To much new to list, Carpet Headliner, Weatherstrips, chrome bumpers, seats, motor, clutch, pressure plate ect..... Paint i will guess is 15 maybe 20 years old, shows scuffs and small scratches from storage but great detail, body is rustfree. It is missing sideglass or door glass both sides, smogpump, door locks, aircleaner stovepipe. Runs great but have i not driven more than a few miles at a time, Wish i could post more pics but incourage serious bidders to call for more details as it is hard to decribe a 40 year old car and not miss things, it does need some minor finishing and will make someone a proud owner. Notice the wheels are very nice, these are unrestored with original rings. I am not a AMX expert please ask questions, see pics or call for more info. Included in auction is a Gold Go stripe kit purchased from American Performance $119 after they quoted me $99, this kit had no instructions or applicator, was wrinkled and made to go on dry, I think!!! i messed up the deck lid stripe and asked them for help getting installation advice and getting the short deck lid stripe replaced at my costs. After 3 weeks of talking to Jerry, i decided i would rather have my teeth pulled with pliers than call American Performance again. I called Pheonix Graphics and ordered a new kit in White, arrived in 3 days. I will include both these stripe kits. To answer many questions i am recieving, car is for sale locally at $17500, ebay reserve is much lower. I did not put a Buy It Now on car as i incourage buyers to come inspect and go for a test drive (no joy rides), call or get all questions answered before bidding. Car has a open Nebraska title free and clear, if that is a problem i will register car and provide a new Iowa title. This is my personal car, not my buddys or good friends, I have a small car collection that got out of hand, will be selling 2 other cars within the next month so i can finish my 70 Cuda i started 4 years ago, and pushed aside for other interesting cars that came along. I can no longer care for 9 cars and long for simpler times.
