290 V8 Engine

This originally had a 196 OHV 6 cyl. with an auto transmission. In

1970 an AMC dealership transplanted a very low mileage 1966 Rambler

American V8 290 CID with a 4 BBL carburetor. The transplant included:

cooling system, engine, automatic transmission, drive shaft, rear axle assembly,

power brakes including front disc. brakes and power steering.

Vehicle was restored in 20001. Items included:

Exterior and Interior:

-New white vinyl top complete with new rear window, white wall tires.

-Seats were repadded and reupholstered.

-Rechromed bumpers front and rear, all other moldings replaced or like new.

Engine and Transmission:

-New timing chain and gears.

-Hydraulic valve lifters and rocker arms.

-Rebuilt 4 BB carburetor and power steering pump.

Fee and Tax Information: I require the non-refundable deposit via Paypal within48 hours of auction closing. Dealer fees and taxes will be in addition to final bid. We have to wait to see what the tax amount will be after the auction closes depending on buyers location. Responsibility of buyer to know the in respected state or county.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A non-refundable, $2000.00 deposit is due within48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.
