1941 Buick Super Eight Convertible

First and foremost, we have set a very realistic reserve for this car. We are not shopping the market and our intention is to sell the car in this auction. Please do not bid unless you have full intentions of completing this sale. Nobody needs to have their time wasted. The overall condition of this car is very nice. It is a real head-turner! This Super Eight has undergone a very nice and complete cosmetic restoration. The restoration was done to a very high standard. Prospective buyers will not be disappointed.

Provenance:

This outstanding 1941 Buick Super Eight Convertible has been owned for the past seven years by a meticulous private car collector in sunny Miami, Florida. The current owner is the third owner of this outstanding vehicle. Originally, this beautiful car belonged to an Arkansas Collector who was a Buick Dealer for years. Prior to World War II, he purchased the car new. During the war, he kept it in the showroom and he said it always brought a smile to people's faces and made them proud to see such a beautiful American product on display. The dealer kept the car for many years and eventually, it was one his 40 car collection that he had built over the years which was housed in a warehouse on his homestead property. The car was sold to it's present owner by a gentleman who had settled the estate for the original owner's widow.

Mileage:

The odometer reads 202 miles. It was reset after the completion of the restoration by the original owner. The actual mileage is not known.

However, based on the engine's compression and operation it might as well have only 202 miles on it.

Exterior:

The overall condition of the exterior is very good. The overall condition of the paint is very good. A few small chips are on a few edges around the doors. Small chip on the inner edge of the hood. Two faint line impressions, not affecting the paint are on the lower right front fender. The body appears to be free of rust.

The top is in excellent condition and the top works properly.

The chrome is very good with no rust.

The tires have no mileage on them and are in good condition.
