#8 Foose Camaro produced, verified to be a true 1969 chassis

The Chevrolet Camaro is a staple in the collectible muscle car world. Chip Foose and Foose Design have become a staple in the design and restoration of such muscle cars. Foose teamed up with the now defunct Unique Performance of Farmers Branch, TX to build a series of 1969 Camaro's that would carry his name. Unique Performance was responsible for creating the "Eleanor" Shelby Mustangs for the movie Gone in Sixty Seconds, so they were no stranger to restoring and modernizing the classics. No expense was spared to make this 1969 Foose Camaro a show stopping, fire breathing, rolling piece of art. You could walk around this car for hours studying the subtle design changes incorporated by Foose or sit behind the wheel for the ultimate rush. It is such a beautiful car that you might not want to drive it, but you will quickly give into temptation the minute you turn the key. As previously mentioned, Unique Performance is no longer in business and there are no more Foose Camaro's being built. In fact, Unique Performance in under investigation for allegedly swapping VIN plates on chassis'. The owner of Foose Camaro #8 invited the authorities to examine this vehicle to ensure that it is in fact a true 1969 chassis and it has been confirmed. Apparently the validity of the other vehicles will also need to be confirmed or they could possibly be confiscated and/or destroyed. Suffice it to say that this extremely rare 1969 Foose Camaro may become even more rare before the investigation is concluded. This vehicle was professionally appraised in October 2006 for $225K before this story came to light. Now that the authenticity has been verified and only a few examples were actually delivered to customers, the value has soared. Whether you want the car for its concours look, the Foose name, or the interesting story surrounding its co-creator, you will not be disappointed. Vehicle Condition: This 1969 Foose Camaro #8 is in excellent condition inside and out. It was built to show car specifications, although it is certainly built to perform as well. There are a few chips in the sub frame underneath the car from road debris, but the topside and interior are nearly flawless. There is a light seep at the rear main seal from being driven so infrequently. You will not find a nicer example (if you can even find another Foose Camaro for sale).
