We are celebrating 10 years in business. We bought this car with nice paint and upgraded it from there. It has a correct 396 but not numbers matching and the body is real nice and straight. So why not restomod it.. We added the heavy duty Hotchkins sway bars for a much more modern car handling. We improved the braking system to near the level of a new vette. We chose the hydroboost set up with 4 wheel cross vented and gas slotted rotors. You can almost blow on the brake pedal and she will sit you in the windshield. This system works off hydraulic pressure verses vacuum. This is the best system we have used. It already had power steering for easy driving.For our project we bought the Flow-master fully tuned dual exhaust system featuring the Flow-Master mufflers as well. I think a flowmaster muffler would make a bicycle sound good. This car really sounds awesome running through the gears. A joy to drive. It is a real Garnet red (code 52) and red interior (code 788) Chevelle. It features a posi-trac 12 bolt rear end. This is a great looking Muscle car. It runs and drives incredibly nice. Our wheel choice was provided by Coys the C-5 chrome.We chose20 inch rear and 18 inch front with high performance aggressive handling tires.. We detailed the engine bay pretty traditional with chrome valve covers, air-cleaner, of course ceramic coated headers and the polished CPP hydro-boost brake cylinder. We probably spent 3 grand on brakes. We really built this car to drive and enjoy not trailer. We detailed the undercarriage in black, new gas tank, shocks and a few other tastefull items. This muscle cars features one of my favorite factorygauge packages and the factory in dash tach all just right there. I love the chrome knob on the Hurst shifter.
