America has (on occasion) produced truly remarkable and original designs. This B pillar free gorgeous and unique sedan is one such Automobile. This car just looks so unique. I mean, come on... it isn't everyday you see a CLEAN rear engine American car motorpassing youby with 5 happy occupants!

This car has loads of style, and is a real standout in the sea of sameness that seems to pervade current car culture. Be different, own this fantastic time capsule... offered here for NO RESERVE The high bidder will own this well preserved American classic.

Packed with innovations such as sophisticated suspension, rear Air cooled flat 6 engine, a pillarless design giving cool coupe like character to this car when the windows are rolled down, and all with a bullet proof power glide transmission... these cars are easy to work on, less mechanically demanding that other cars (heck, there is no radiator, water hoses, etc.) and relatively inexpensive to buy these cars represent a great investment for the future.

They are RARE, very unique, and cheaper than other classics from the period.

This car benefits from the following:

-all badging and trim present as pictured

-all interior bits present (just try building one up from the ground that doesn't have all it's parts, you will spend THOUSANDS)

-full PPG respray in white about 7 years ago.

-seats , carpets, roof liner, glass, all in great shape

-Chrome work redone, very nice with no pitting

- working HORN , TURN SIGNALS, LIGHTS.

This car was purchased from an estate.I was told that it was in the same family for a number of years. The carbs had recently been synchronized, andthe trans had been serviced and it had received a fresh professional repaint some years back. The car is verysolid (no majorvisible rust other than some small cracks on edges and under seams , no holes in any body parts). There is some corrosion in various spots inside door jambs (none larger than pencil eraser head) The underside of the car has been rust proofed at some point during it's life. When we got the car It started right up, and when driven regularly it still starts right up. It will drop a few drops on the garage floor.

The car idles, starts, shifts and drives well. It is an old car so I don't want to make any comments I can't be 100% sure of, but this car is very nice. I have driven the car at highway speeds... it is smooth. The interior is COMPLETE and in great shape. The rear deck boardis really the only major point of wear from the sun.

This is a nice driver, this car is NOT going to win you any car shows, but It is something you can drive around and have fun in. It starts everytime, just turn the key and go. Once in a while you need to spray some starting fluid into the carb to get her to turn over.

Drives and shifts smooth, even at 60 MPH, she is smooth and steady.

Brakes and tires are both good.

Listen folks, this car isn't MINT, it isn't PERFECT, It is a nice driver. It looks good, it runs and drives good. It is a great weekend driver or a great little car to take to the supermarket or drive it in the local parade. I don't want someone buying it who is seeking a FLAWLESS $100,000 Corvette - its a nice example ofa 43 year old Corvair.
