The paint has a nice shine where it is needed and has the correct satin/dull finish, where needed. Attention to detail was made to not over-restore the finish on the car too much. The frame is solid and it has never had any repair done to it. The frame has the correct color and finish and you can also clearly see the shim marks and stenciling placed on the frame at the time of restoration. All of this can clearly be seen in the restoration photos that come with the car. The headlights motors work nicely and the warning indicator works in the car when lights are on and the headlights are not in the forward position. The wipers and washers work perfectly. The car has original rally wheels on it and they look great. The beauty rings are originals that have been fully restored. The wheels have the correct “DC” code next to the valve stems. The valve stems even have the correct shape and DIL marking on them. The bumpers are re-chromed and they have been returned to their original luster. This is one sharp car and you will be hard pressed to find another 1967 Corvette with a Big Block as nice as this one. INTERIOR: The interior is nearly completely original with the exception of the headliner. The inside of the car looks exceptional and only lost 2 of 760 points at the National Convention in Judging. The dash pad are in great condition. The gauges are all restored and the lenses are clean and clear. All of the Gauges have been restored and rebuilt so they will pass NCRS Performance Verification. Overall, the interior can only be considered outstanding. The steering wheel is in near-perfect, original condition. The seat belts look like new they are the same ones it left the factory with. The rear compartment has all of the correct and Original markings and instruction on the lid is clean and in wonderful shape. MECHANICS: The engine is completely rebuilt and set up to run on the unleaded fuels of today. The clutch is new and works smoothly, and without any chatter. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the shifter is tight and free of slop. The carburetors were professionally restored and are correct. The original ignition shielding is in wonderful condition and the air cleaner looks great as well. The car still has its original M-21 transmission and 3.70:1 positraction rear differential. The VIN is clearly marked transmission. The car will passed all operations tests in Flight Judging. The car was restored with Performance Verification in mind and will pass this as well. I have hundreds of pictures of the car during the restoration process, so I most likely have a picture of an area you might want a closer look of. Just ask. 1.
