ThisTuxedo Black427 / 400hpCorvette is an that was owned byDavid Morgan, Dayton, Ohio, forabout the last28years ( fromaboutOctober, 1978until June, 2006 ). During this28 year period, the car sat in the garage most of the time, hence the very low mileage of37,600 miles. Therestoration was completed in March, 2008. To the best of my knowledge, the car has had4 owners, including myself, during its 40+ year history. This corvette has agorgeous bodyand paint job,and a completely rust-free (never rusted) frame. Theengine is completely original and numbers matching with its high performance 400hpbig block V8, Muncie 4 Speed transmission, and 3.70:1 Positraction rear end. The only changes from theway that this corvette left the factory, is the addition of the 1967 original bolt-on wheels, and original blackwall non-DOT tires. This corvette currently has the very rare original bolt-on aluminum wheels, but it came from the factory with thestandard rally wheels, trim rings, and center caps. This is a Corvette that is enjoyable to drive or show on any occasion. Thebig block V8 with the Muncie 4 Speed is the perfect combination for someone who plans to use the car on nice weekends for shows, club events orpure driving pleasure, not to mention the investment value. This car runs perfectly and will go anywhere.
