THIS ORIGINAL 19,000 MILE 1968 EL CAMINO SS 396 IS DOCUMENTED WITH THE PROTECTO-PLATE, WARRANTY CARD AND ORIGINAL OWNER INFORMATION AS WELL AS APPRAISAL. IT HAS A 396/375 HP, FACTORY CLOSE RATIO 4-SPEED, 4.10 POSI, POWER STEERING, AM-FM, STANDARD DRUM BRAKES, BUCKET SEATS, CONSOLE AND FACTORY GAUGES. THIS EL CAMINO WAS BOUGHT AT A TENNESEE DEALERSHIP, WHERE THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THE DEALER INSTALL A 427 CE SHORT BLOCK WHILE STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY. AT THIS POINT, BADGING ON THE EXTERIOR WAS CHANGED TO SS 427 AND INTERIOR 427 EMBLEMS WERE ADDED TO THE DOOR PANELS. ALL OTHER ENGINE COMPONENTS INCLUDING THE HEADS ARE THE ORIGINAL 396/375 PIECES. THERE IS ONE ITEM NOT ORIGINAL, A REPLACEMENT 1969 DATED HOLLY CARB. THE WINNING BIDDER WILL RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS PHONE NUMBER AS WELL AS ALL OTHER DOCUMENTATION TO FURTHER DOCUMENT. THE EXTERIOR HAS AN OLDER LAQUER REPAINT WITH A FEW NICKS ALTHOUGH THE PAINT INSIDE THE BED IS THE ORIGINAL. ORIGINAL SPARE WITH SS WHEEL HAS NEVER BEEN REMOVED. THE EL CAMINO CURRENTLY HAS CRAGER SS MAGS WITH RADIAL TIRES. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT DOES RUN AND DRIVES PERFECTLY. THE BUZZER STILL RINGS AND OPERATES WHEN PLACING THE KEY IN THE IGNITION.

We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our auctions and sales. Please read our Detailed Terms and Conditions before bidding. Bidding on a vehicle is a legally binding agreement. Failure to comply with our terms and conditions may warrant legal action.

Payment Terms:

The buyer will submit a deposit that is a minimum of 5% of the purchase for vehicle within one (1) business day of the close of the auction or acceptance of offer to secure the vehicle. If the vehicle sale price is under $10,000 a flat $500 will be required as the deposit. There is also a $99.00 documentation fee that is to be submitted at the time of payment of deposit. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within three (3) business days of the close of the auction or acceptance of offer. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. We reserve the right to re-list or otherwise sell the vehicle to another party in the event of failure to comply with this policy.

Payment Methods:

Cash (in person) upon pickup, certified bank check, bank to bank wire transfer or 3rd party financing. Deposits may be made via Visa, MasterCard. Entire purchase price of a vehicle will not be accepted on a credit card. If you have been approved through an online funding company, find out what your lender's terms are prior to bidding.
