1958 Chevrolet Impala

The Chevrolet Impala began it's introduction in 1958 as a top of the line trim option on the Chevrolet Bel Air. As the Bel Air lineup in 1958 featured all new and "one year only" styling, the Impala option added special trim and deluxe interiors. The result was stupendous and Chevrolet made the Impala a model of it's own in 1959. This nice 58' Impala was saved from certain death in the late 70's as it was sitting complete in a Junk Yard. A local gentleman saved the car and enjoyed driving it until September 23rd 1982 when he began to prepare the body for a fresh look with new paint. Along with the new paint the engine was rebuilt and installed so drivability would not be an issue. The car was handed down to a family member and in 2001 the car was restored once again resulting in the condition that we present it in. The engine was upgraded and the paint and body work was refreshed! The car shows very nice and with it is one of the best driving vintage cars we have ever had to offer! While the car is not 100% perfect it is a great example that is ready to be driven and enjoyed!
