Description1970 Monte Carlo Collector Condition, all Original, Mint condition One of the finest in the country This first year Monte Carlo is a very rare find due to its condition. It is a one owner car, and has been kept in mint condition since new. One fresh repaint over all of the original metal. Laser straight body lines, not a wave, or even a tiny ding anywhere. This is the straightest old car I have ever seen (more like a Lexus than an older Chevy). Engine is the original 350, runs perfectly, and is expertly detailed. Mechanically everything is 100%. If you want the very best this is it! Please see below for a detailed description of condition. People’s eyes pop out when they see this car, just like walking into a Chevy showroom in 1970. No disappointments on this car! Body and Frame: -No accident damage anywhere, No rust anywhere, No dents, looks like it just left the showroom. Always stored in a heated garage, and not driven in winter. Very carefully loved by it’s only owner in Ohio. -No sheet metal has ever been replaced, no bondo, no evidence of any body work on the car. -Body seams are laser straight, and doors/hood/trunk close perfectly. -Car has fresh repaint in 2009, in original Turquoise, a stunning rare color. Paint is 9.5 out of 10. -All trim items are excellent. -All glass is original, with no defects. -Bumpers are very nice, with only a small ding on the lower rear (hard to see or photo). -Frame and floors are not undercoated and totally solid. -Front grille and headlights are nice. Mechanical: -Car drives great, solid feel, goes down the road straight, power disc brakes work great. -Engine starts instantly and runs smoothly. No drips or smells. -Engine is hard to hear when running, very strong acceleration when you put the pedal down. -Transmission shifts very smoothly, feels like a personal luxury car should! -Underside of trans and engine are dry, no leaks. -Power Steering very smooth. -All electrical accessories work. -Air conditioning blows cold. -Newer Chevy Sport wheels and Dunlop tires. Interior: -Interior has been redone, all with correct high quality materials, seats are new, carpet fresh. -Dashboard is perfect, all gauges work, wood accents shiny. -Dash is original and mint, no cracks, sun damage or warps. -Headliner was replaced and is mint, as are the sail panels and parcel shelf. -Glass is free of any chips. -Original AM radio, works great. -Clock works. -Non Smoker car. Pickup or Delivery: We can provide delivery within 50 miles for free, or longer distances for $1 per mile round trip. Will only deliver the car once paid for. I added some indoor pictures tonight. Sometimes it is hard to represent the color due to digital cameras, and various sunlight conditions. The first picture of the passenger roof pillar and quarter, is the best representation of the actual color. It is a rich shiny Turquoise. The color match to the trunk is an exact copy of the stock color. Some of the outdoor pics look lighter, but that was just when the clouds were going by... Doug
