1966 Chevy II, purchased in 2002, restored from ground up in 2003. This car has been taken apart completely and rebuilt with nothing left untouched. Car has been media blasted inside and out, all new sheet metal from Goodmark including 2" cowl induction hood. Installed a Hagan flush mount fuel filler that can be seen in the pictures, there is no rust in this car. Car was sprayed in metal etch primer then blocked and blocked till straight. Paint is PPG Urethane Copper Canyon Mica over Sand-drift metallic. Interior, trunk and engine compartment were sprayed the copper color as well. Suspension has been stripped, completely powder coated and rebuilt. Installed Master Power power disc brake conversion up front and upgraded to 11" drums in rear. Rear is rebuilt 10 bolt with Eaton Posi and 3.08 gears, mono-leaf springs. Trans is rebuilt Turbo 350 with stage 2 shift kit, Hughes 2400 stall, B&M Quicksilver console shifter, brand new balanced drive shaft and u-joints. Engine is a 1972 4-bolt main, Chevy 350 bored to 355 Ci, has 7 quart nova cut out pan, Melling high volume oil pump. J&E 10:1 flat top pistons, Mild Crane cam with nice lope and good idle. Edelbrock Performer intake with custom built Quadrajet, Performance curved HEI distributor,100 amp 1-wire chrome alternator, Complete Painless Performance wiring Harness. Desert cooler 4 row radiator, new fan clutch and 7 blade GM fan. Wheels are 16x7" American Racing "Hopsters" with Yokohama YK420 216/55-16 tires. Interior is custom two tone tan and taupe tweed. Buckets are from an Import with the head rest cut off, stock rear bench, Mercedes tan carpet with extra pad. Contoured 1 piece headliner and door panels. All new weather seals throughout car. Trunk is upholstered to match interior. This car has 3300 miles since restoration and always garaged. It is a multiple show winner including 2003 and 2004 Phoenix World of Wheels where it won best in class and best paint for street driven vehicle and Super Ros magazine pick of show. It was a feature car in Super Chevy magazine in December 2005 and has been featured on many Nova websites. This car drives great, shows great and stops traffic everywhere.
