While all SSRs basically look the same they are different in engine size and options offered. The 2006 SSR is the model with the largest engine and most options offered. This is a one owner 2006 Chevy SSR which I purchased from a local dealer in April 2006. It has approximately 24,500 miles on the odometer and I drive it regularly along with my other vehicles. It performs flawlessly.It is silver with a black interior. It has a 400 HP 6 liter V-8 engine and a six speed manual transmission. Unlike most of these SSRs that are equipped with an automatic trans., you can drive this car while up shifting and down shifting to meet the requirements of the road and your individual driving style. Acceleration is awesome and it is unbelievably fast. This car has ALL the options and an incredible sound system (BOSE Speakers,AM/FM Stereo, Six CD Player). This vehicle comes equipped with all of the options included inthe "Preferred Equipment Group"like heated leather seats with driver memory, automatic dimming driver and side mirrors, universal garage remote, running boards, auxiliary guage package on center console, chrome wheels, all cargo compartment accessories with wood trim, six speed manual trans, just to name a few options.Unlike most two seat sports cars this vehicle is very comfortable on long trips with more than enough room for your gear. It converts from a hard top pick up truck to a two seat open roadster. The hard top retracts into a compartment behind the passenger seating. The vehicle has a carpeted pick up bed with wood trim, saddle bags, cargo net and is enclosed by a hard cover which is part of the body. The back of the pick up bed opens with a traditional tail gate.Although I have never towed anything with this vehicle it did come with a 2 inch ball hitch mounted to the vehicle frame under the tail gate. As the attached photos demonstrate this vehicle is in great condition. I did hit a deer in October 2008 which damaged the left side fender, front grilleand hood. But the vehicle was expertly repaired through the dealership that I purchased the car from, returned to its original conditionand absolutely no aftermarket parts were used. This was the very last year that the SSR was manufactured so it will become a collectable and a classic. The right is reserved to remove the car from sale as it is being advertised locally and therefore may be sold locally.This vehicle is being sold as is where is. The title has a lien from the bank that holds the loan on the vehicle which must be paid off as part of the vehicle ownership transfer process. The buyer is responsible for the payment of all registration costs and the payment of any taxes applicable to the sale.The buyer, their agent or representative will need topick up the vehicle and bring their purchase home.
