Chrysler 'Letter' cars.
This car is one of the last designs by Chrysler styling chief Virgil Exner who brought the 'Forward Look' to
Chrysler with futuristic design features such as tailfins and a jet-inspired dashboard. This beauty is one of only 337 ever produced and one of only 120 left,
less than 10% were made with factory air, this car 1 of 12 known to exist. This car is powered by its original 413 cubic-inch 'Wedge Head' 375 horsepower with the factory cross
ram induction setup V8 engine with twin 4 barrel carburetors and capable of exceptional performance.
The car is geared with the factory 3-speed automatic
on dash push button gearbox with cast-iron transmission and Sure-Grip differential.
This car was considered to be an elegant powerhouse.
A factory 1961 300G was recently tested by Road & Track magazine
and ran 0-60 mph in 8.4 seconds and the 1/4 mile time was 16.2 seconds at 87 mph.
