Vehicle Description

1975 Chrysler Cordoba

Original owner, numbers matching.

Car is cinnamon metallic with white landau roof and white leather interior. Heavily optioned car with console, leather buckets, slapstick, A/C, sure-grip, power seat, power windows and more. Originally 400-4bbl car. Current engine is original block stroked to 451ci. Includes window sticker and original order paperwork. This was one of Mopar’s last attempts at a clean looking, big block B-body on the Charger platform. Later years had extra trim that took away from the clean lines of the car. Well over 25K invested with over 5+ years of work with all receipts, photos, and details included.

Chassis:

Suspension completely redone, K-frame removed, all chassis parts bead blasted and refinished with Dupont Imron. All new bushings and suspension parts with new rubber and polygraphite parts. NOS steering box installed. P/S pump rebuilt. All new hoses. Engine compartment completely detailed and all mechanical parts replaced. All wiring harness’s restored. New HD battery cables (heavier gauge than stock). 30% stiffer than stock torsion bars, Koni adjustable shocks front and rear, rebuilt 30% stiffer leaf springs. Every conceivable wear component replaced. HD factory sway bars with poly bushings. 16x7” aluminum rims with high performance summer tires installed. Have original 15x6.5” steel wheels and original wheel covers. Undercarriage cleaned, primed and painted. 11 ¾” front rotors with rebuilt calipers and Firm Feel carbon met pads. Stainless braided brake hoses front and rear. 11” rear drums. New wheel cylinders. Hi performance brake fluid. New master cyl. Power brake booster professionally rebuilt to new specs. New proportioning valve.

Engine/driveline:

Original 400 block was stroked to 451ci and bored to 4.375” with 440 forged crank and rods. Fully blueprinted with no expense spared. Ross forged pistons, 10.3:1 compression. Internally balanced. Ported new Mopar stage V heads, larger stainless tulip/swirl polished valves 2.14” int, 1.81” ex, . Edelbrock performer RPM intake. 750 Holley double pumper carb. Factory repro 6-pack cam. HV oil pump with ½” pick up. High volume fuel pump. New SS 3/8” fuel lines from tank to carb. Fuel tank restored and pressure tested. Rebuilt distributor. Engine built using only best all new components avail and runs great. New HD fan clutch , voltage regulator, starter fully rebuilt to 1.8 HP specs, rebuilt alternator. Have original intake, crank, rods, carb, emissions equipment, etc, etc. If one wanted to return to 400. Complete details about engine build and parts list included. Never tracked. Judging by G-tech and seat of pants, it is a high 13 second car that could be faster if one wanted to change gearing, etc. The engine was built to be a torque monster.

Exhaust is port matched factory manifolds with custom 2 ¼” exhaust bent to factory pattern, and super turbo mufflers going to 2 ½” after axle. No cats. Sounds great.

Trans is numbers matching 727 with 2800 stall TCI converter. Slapstick rebuilt and tight with no slop. Trans was rebuilt during resto by local trans shop. New HD 7290 style U joints and shaft. Shaft was rebalanced. Diff is factory 8.25” sure grip with 2.71 gears. All seals were replaced along with bearings. Diff was opened and checked, new fluid, etc. Runs quiet with no problems. Sure grip works great. Runs flawless on the highway and can cruise all summer long on the highway and in traffic without any overheating problems. Great cruiser that packs a punch.

Interior:

Newly restored interior. Impeccable. New correct color white leather seat covers from Legendary Auto Interiors using super soft Bill Hirsch leather. New carpet, etc. Cabin completely sound deadened/ insulated. Everything either replaced with new or restored perfectly. Upgraded to tach dash. All gauges work. All electrical components gone through and checked/ replaced. Power windows completely gone through with new NOS regulators and all new bushings and slides. New lock cylinders, etc. Custom 'doba floor mats. Clock works great.

Alpine stereo system. 3 disk in dash, 4 channel amp plus single channel amp for sub, high quality 6 speaker system, 8” sub in trunk. System was installed without modifying or cutting car in any way and is highly discrete.

Viper alarm system with several kill switches and cutoffs. Guidepoint digital GPS vehicle tracking system.

Exterior:

Original vinyl top was replaced with a new white legendary top at that time and surrounding trim restored.

Paint is in general good condition with a few areas that could use a little TLC in the future.

Most trim pieces including bumpers are in restorable straight condition. NOS tail lights were recently installed which look great. The backup lights were also restored.

All of the trim is straight and complete. Some of it will need chrome work but still looks good in general.

Car has roughly 130K original miles showing on the odometer. However ALL mechanicals have been replaced/rebuilt during resto and there is about 5000 miles on the car since the resto.

As I said...I have a ton of time and over 25K in this car and I truly hate to sell it. But another classic has come along that I could not pass up. I need the room so the 'Doba is leaving the family after over 3 decades of great memories.

I have added a few pictures to illustrate some of the work done during the resto.

If you have any questions, would like to take a look at the car, want some photos of area I missed, etc. Please let me know....

Thank you!
