'64 Imperial Club Coupe

Very Rare Only 5,233 Built!

"Imperial, the flagship of Chrysler corporations lineup, had a new look for 1964. One of the few all new design offerings that year, the Imperial had taken a turn from the previous years rounded styling to a sharp edged school of design. About the only thing former owners will recognize is the familiar hood ornament Even the dash panel had been redesigned."

This example is a combination of all original, with a mild cosmetic and mechanical restoration. According to the previous owners estate, it had been in his private collection and has been maintained by a full time mechanic for over 20 years. Please let all the pictures load (there are over 80) to see the beautiful condition of this Classic Imperial. The car was repainted in the original Persian White, the front seats were recovered in the original material, the engine received numerous mechanical improvements, and the transmission has been rebuilt (this was the last year for the unique push button transmission). We don't know everything that was done, but we do know this car rides and drives like it's 1964! The 413 Wedge V-8 engine fires to life instantly and runs terrific! The paint, while not show quality, is very nice, the exterior chrome and trim are in outstanding original condition! The undercarriage still carries most of the original undercoating and is solid, clean and dry, with no issues. The interior is in beautiful original condition. The lights, signals, gauges, power seats, power windows, power antenna, radio, heater, remote mirror, and wipers are fully operational. We have the original owners and service manuals. All in all, this is one very nice Imperial and runs so good, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere!Please remember that this car is 44 years old and not perfect. The clock and air conditioning are inoperable, the front passenger window is slow, the paint has some minor imperfections and the exterior mirrors have some minor pitting.
