DAME GLADYS".

SHE'S OURSEQUOIA-GREEN EMERALD EMPRESS .

BURIED DEEP WITHIN HER GLOVE COMPARTMENT, WHEN WE DISCOVERED HER, WAS A SCRAP OF PAPER WITH THE NAME "GLADYS" PRINTED ON IT.

UNDOUBTEDLY, THE NAME OF THE PREVIOUS LADY-OWNER.

IT MAY HAVE BEEN AN OLD REGISTRATION SLIP...A BRITTLE INSURANCECARD...OR SOME OTHER DOCUMENT, LOST IN TIME...

BUT THE NAME "GLADYS" HAS STUCK....AND SHE HAS STUCK WITH US FOR TWENTY YEARS!

NOW, AFTER A LIFETIME SPENTBASKING IN THE ARIZONA SUN, GLADYS IS READY FOR A NEW LEASE ON LIFE....WITH YOU.

SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AND UTTERLY ORIGINAL.

HER ASTONISHINGLY LOW MILEAGE OF 53,419 IS ALL SHE'S EVER DONE.

HER PRISTINE INTERIOR ISCOMPLETELY VIRGINAL.

NO REPAIRS TO THEUPHOLSTERY HAVE EVER BEEN REQUIRED, AND NONE HAS BEEN PERFORMED.

HER EXQUISITE, PEARLESCENT BLACK LEATHER IS AS GLOSSY AND AS SUMPTUOUS AS IT WAS, WHEN NEW.

THE PATINA-OF-AGE EVIDENT ON HER FRONT SEAT REVEALS GENTLE WEAR AND REMARKABLYCAREFUL USE.

HER LUSTROUSSEQUOIA GREEN ACRYLIC ENAMEL WAS APPLIED AT THE FACTORY; SHE HAS NEVER BEEN REPAINTED.

Ooops...I'd never noticed, until now...

The LEFT-HAND REAR DOOR has been repainted, and you'll see skin-deep putty under the paint.

A scratch or a crease way back when..? Undoubtedly! Disregard my claim that Gladys has never been repainted. That's a stretch. She may indeed have been re-sprayed sometime beforeI acquired her in '89.

Only a professional paint-and body-man could tell with certainty...andI'm neither!

Imperfections do exist in the leather of the front-seat cushion; small tears and cracks are clearly evident.

My Full Monty of sixty-plus photos will show everything.

Please check out the full panoply of snapshots before you place your final bid!!!

Call me at (602)569-1010 to request sixty-plus detailed and close-upphotos, or email your address to me at: johnnyrosen@cox.net

(Interesting -and disconcerting -how one can drive a car that one loves for many years...and be oblivious to its minor imperfections...until one puts oneself on the spot!!)
