this1989 Chrysler TC by Maserati with 15,800 miles.

This is probably one of the NICEST TC Maseratis left anywhere! Very clean and in great shape!

I have won many trophies at various car shows around town.

This special vehicle has the following equipment and options:

  • 2.2L Chrysler 8 valve turboIIV6 engine
  • automatic transmission
  • hardtop with "opera" windows
  • Pull up convertible top with glass rear window
  • Ginger colorleather upholstery in excellent condition
  • Infinity AM/FM cassette premium audio with 6 speakersi
  • Dual 6 way power seats
  • cruise control
  • A/C still working fine.
  • power windows
  • Headlamp protectors.
  • power doorlocks
  • Bridgestone tires
  • this is a early build vehicle with the fuzzy covered speaker grills.
  • This car was a very special collaboration between Chrysler and Maserati, conceived by Lee Iacocca-

"Lee Iacocca started a friendship with the late Alejandro de Tomaso while at Ford, which led to the successful De Tomaso Pantera. During the 1980s, Iacocca found himself at the helm of Chrysler while De Tomaso was owner of the historic Maserati brand. In 1984, both companies signed a memorandum of understanding to create a sport coupe, which ultimately became the TC."

Some more quotes about the car-

"While the TC is beginning to appreciate as an automotive investment. you should heed what is written in The Illustrated Shelby Buyers Guide, "The only responsible advice that one can give in today's market is that a buyer should purchase a car for the very simple reason that he or she WANTS TO OWN IT. That way, while you might be pleasantly surprised later on, you'll never be disappointed. Don't buy one to make a pile of dough, buy it because YOU'VE GOTTA HAVE IT." In other words, buy that TC with your heart rather than your head.

The TC is unique as Chrysler's one foray into the world of luxury two seaters and remains an affordable piece of Iacocca-era automotive history that you can drive and enjoy. Although prices are climbing and less than half of the 7,300 TC's are believed to currently survive, a pristine low-mileage example can still be obtained for under $16,000.

This Maserati TC runs and drives GREAT! The engine is smooth and powerful, the transmission shifts well, and there are NO known mechanical problems with this car.The engine has used synthetic Mobil One oil since the first oil change andit gets 27 mpg.. No leaks or noises from drivetrain which uses standard Chrysler parts.Engine runs very cool even on a hot summer day. All electric items are working fine and has a new battery. Brakes have been replaced with better than factory ones and work perfectly. Paint is in great conditon with no clearcoat peeling. Headlamps are like new due to protective covers from 3M.

The interior is exceptional for the age of the vehicle- the leather is in superb condition, and the carpets are clean and excellent. Thisis a non-smoker's vehicle as well. This interior looks GREAT- please see the photos! I have a clean Car-fax report if requested.

The exterior of this car is excellent. The paint and body are clean and in great condition. There is one very smal ding that can be easily removed. This car came from Los Angeles and has zero rust--never seen snowand only in rain a few times. The convertible top is like new and has never been up in sunlight, and the factory hardtop is included as well. The round opera windows has some fog but can be easily repaired as described on TC websites. Also the tonneau cover release and pull downworks fine unlike some older cars. Its time to sell to get a 70's muscle car so this is your chance to get it before I change my mind (again). The list price on this vehicle back in 1989 was over $35,000.These pictures really don't do it justice. The value will only go up ifits kept in current condition. If you want to know more or have questions please call 505-604-5609.I have more picturesthat I can email you ifdesired. The car is located in Albuquerque NM.Fly in and drive this car home anywhere! Airport is 10 mi away and I can pick you up if needed. Serious bidders only. I report all non-paying bidders. Check my feedback score - you won't be disappointed! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FEEDBACK, YOU MUST CONTACT ME OR YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED
Good luck on bidding.
