Vehicle Description 1963 Dodge Polara 426 Max Wedge Cross Ram Show Car You are looking at a 1963 Dodge Polara two door hardtop which is unparalleled in quality and raw power. It has undergone a complete frame off restoration while retaining the desirable stock characteristics that make it special. The exterior is as clean and straight as you will find with an outstanding body, paint and chrome. The two-tone interior with bucket seats is also in superb condition. The car was meticulously restored by an avid car collector and Dodge enthusiast and has stayed true to its original design and vintage appeal. Under the hood is a 426 Max Wedge engine with stage 2 heads along with a purple Mopar solid lifter cam, mechanical lifters, 11:1 compression, and an original cross ram intake manifold with Carter carburetors. The transmission is a Borg Warner T-10 4-speed with Mopar long tail shaft, and tall Hurst shifter. It has Hooker competition steel headers and a factory style exhaust system with custom cutouts after the headers. This true muscle car boast 450 horsepower and the engine rumble to back it up. To put this massive power to the ground it has a Dodge 8.75" locker rear end with a 4.56 gear ratio. This car runs and drives beautifully and maintains a cool temperature and 65 PSI oil pressure. The two-tone interior is exceptionally clean and fitted with with buckets in the front and a center console. Every interior detail from the custom painted steering wheel and Mopar shift knob to the exceptional dash and gauges set this car apart from others of its kind. The car has an aggressive stance and outstanding paint and chrome. It is rust-free and stunningly clean from top to bottom. A look down any panel shows a straight and flawless body all the way around. The car's aggressive look is completed by its color matched original wheels with brand new 14” radials in front and 15” street slicks in the rear on widened rims.
