This highly optioned beauty has been professionally restored to a high standard. This car is part of my friends collection that was never going to be sold. Never say never, failing health and impending costs have forced areconsideration. There has been no expense spared to bring this awsome car back to it's original condition. We all know that restoring a car to be a keeper, will be much more comprehensive than "perfuming a pig" for a quick re-sale. There is no hope of recouping the cost involved, even the parts alone put into this car's restoration will barely be covered. This Charger was sold new at National Motors in Victoria, British Columbia. It has had 4 local owners in it's 40+ years. It has retained it's original engine, transmission, and differential. Over the years it has changed with the times, in the 70's it was "discoed" with chrome parts under the hood, Mallory ignition, stainless steel braided lines, etc. Common practice back in the day.All this time the owners lovingly cared for their car, it has never been abused or cut up. There has never been any rust issues, and the body as you can see is laser straight.

The car was hit in the passenger side rear quarter, back in the day it was no problem to get a full factory replacement quarter, so it was more cost effective and a better fix to just replace the quarter.It was put on using the stock spot welds you can't tell it was ever changed.The owner took this opportunity to change from the silver, with blue and white interior. to the stunning triple black you see today. At the same time a 69 SE leather interior was installed, that's when the upholstery shop threw way the build sheet.

My friend has had the car returned to original, everything has been rebuilt or replaced with many NOSand the best reproduction parts available. Gone are all the "disco" accessories of years gone by, new correct interior installed, rebuilt stock Bendix calipers with NOS brake rotors, all new brake and fuel lines, new fuel tank, new springs and torsion bars,new wiring harnesses, dash cluster restored, heaterbox restored,the engine rebuilt with NOS parts,the original carbs restored,the Torqueflite overhauled, new torque converter, the 3.23 sure grip overhauled drum to drum everything new, the steering box rebuilt, every ball joint and tie rod end new, power steering pump new, the extra holes drilled for the accessories welded up and the engine bay re-painted. You get the picture, this car was never going to be sold, it was a keeper, and it had to be right.

This car has recently gone through a vehicle certification inspection by the International Chrysler Collector Authority. The forthcoming report will be available to anyone inspecting the car in person.
