Vehicle Description This is the starting price please do not send offers. If you are far away and want to bid but shipping is high I'llgive you $500 towards shipping. I am not desperate nor do I need the money. This Beesits in the garage year round and I've had it out once or twice a year since completion in 1998. I've had this since 1995. I towed it home and worked on it for 3.5 years. It's sat for many years and now will need the Holley 750 carb rebuilt. The gas went bad but I removed it and replaced it with high octane. It will start and drive fine but idles poorly and if you kick in the 4 barrel the floats will stick. The motor was rebuilt prior to me getting it and I've got some receipts but not all. It was an unfinished project when I got it. It is a 383 car but now has a 1969 440 out of a fury. I replaced quarters, outer wheel houses, trunk floors and extensions. I sand blasted all rust and undercoated the rear underside of the car. I'll add more information as I think of it or ask questions and I'll reply asap. The middle floors were not bad and never done. They do have slight surface rust on the underside. The front bumpers need to be rechromed and the rear wasrechromed but now has a small dent about the size of a quarter on the upper right hand corner. The front has bumper guards but they don't have the inner brace that goes inside the lower valance panel. I thought they looked cool but couldn't find the otherpiece at a swap meet. I replaced trans, radiator, water pump, belts hoses, electronic distributor, battery and just in the last year the fuel pump, starter, plugs, cap and rotor. When I put the exhaust on after the starter replacement I positioned it to close to the cross member and now sometimes it will rub and give you a rattle. This has headers with short pipes back to the mufflers. I'll include the original exhaust manifolds. I have had the rear end out to replace seals. It had a date of 1964 and 391 stamped on it. The paint job is a 10 footer. The guy who did it was a friend of a friend and it was a dissappointing final finish withseveral imperfections in the finishincluding fish eyesand several runs. The new quarters look very nice though. There are two trouble spots . One is the edge of the trunk lid see picture and the other is the lower corner of the passenger door. This auction will include an extra trunk lid and the originaldog dish hub caps.It now has several small scratches and dings from my abuse around the garage. It is a nice driver and not a trailer queen. I sand blasted the top edge of the doors andnow the door glass has a rough haze along the top 1" but I'll include extra used ones for both sides. I just never got around to putting them in. The ones in now aren't that bad but I thought I better mention it. Ifwas to paint it again I'd be asking $25000. It's a nice car but will require some tinkering to make it perfect. Theseats areout of a 1967 Coronet with no rips. The dash is not cracked. It has the tic-toc tac that came out of another B-body and was never hooked up. Tac was supposed to work but not the clock. Original AM radio is still in dash but has never worked. There is a AM-FM CD player mounted under the dash. CD player skips from engine vibration and road bumps. 6X9 speakers in rear deck but rear card board cover with speaker holes is new and is uncut. I'm sure there are lots of questions and I'll answer them asap. I invite everyone to come and inspect the car before bidding. This is a true WM23 383 car with auto on the floor. It now has a 440 If you bid on this auction you must contact me by email or phone and discuss you intent to purchase. If I receive no contact I will cancell your bid. Thanks Brad
The last time I washed the car I got back in and there was a small bit of water on the drivers side floor matt. I know that the windsheild frame was sandblasted and painted. There wasn't any rust which leads me to believe that the new rubber seal has possibly gone bad. The vinyl top was new but is now dull. Wheels are 14" American Racing 200S Daisy Type. Tires are like new. All 4 drum brakes redone in 1998. Power steering has been added. Front end has a complete rebuild kit installed in 1998. rear air shocks new this summer. battery new in 2007 The lights and wiper switches are alittle touchy, you have to get them in exactly the right position to work. It's not hard to do but I thought I should mention it. Ilooked around the garage and can only find one extra door glass for the drivers side. I will include the other side if I can find it.
