Highlights / Main Specifications

The 1970 Dodge Dart lineup returned with Swinger 340 and Dart GTS trim lines. All Darts had new front and rear styling. The Swinger 340 was available for $2,808 but now included a three-speed manual as standard. Instead of smaller power vents, the hood now had two long, narrow hood scoops. Front disc brakes were included. Despite the introduction of the Dodge Challenger, the Swinger 340 still remained popular as a result of its straight ahead raw power and muscle car stance. One reason for its popularity was that insurance companies classified it as a compact car and thus charged lower premiums than other muscle cars. Despite this,the Swinger 340 was still veryfast and would take on anything on the street!

EXTERIOR:

Restored car finished in FY1 Yellow. Nice lines and solid panels. The paint and body are in decent shape, the paint is by no means show quality but presentable, but with a cut and polish would come out much nicer. The bumpers and chrome have been redone and have an excellent finish

INTERIOR:

The interior is nicely appointed. The seats have been completely redone and look very good. All new carpet a few years back now but still shows well. The console is in good shape. Dash and components are in very good shape for original.

DRIVETRAIN:

We take the description from the owner, and can help verify items and issues for you upon request. We also arrange and encourage a 3rd party inspection to ensure the owner is not selling something that has a serious issue even they are not aware of - the cost for this is approx $150 US, but this is your call. At the same time, we require this to be done before the auction has ended if you are interested in the car as high bid takes this car - no questions asked.
