Here we have a truly one-of-a-kind 1939 Dodge, John Deere Commemorative Special Limited Edition! Originally deemed "Luxury Liner" in the factory brochure, this D11 sedan has been treated to a John Deere makeover that will make any true John Deere fan proud! Painted in John Deere Green and trimmed in John Deere Yellow, this Dodge is guaranteed to draw attention whereever it goes. Its unique styling combined with the striking color combination will make this car a favorite in any parade.

Equipped with the stock 217.8 cubic inch L-head inline six-cylinder engine and the column shifted three speed manual transmission, this automobile is the pure essence of a 1930s era car. The six cylinder starts quickly and runs smoothly.

Of course this car was built before power accessories became common. Steering and braking are accomplished with a manual touch. A Mopar Deluxe accessory heater is on board to keep the cabin warm in cool weather. This Dodge didn't get an optional radio back in '39, though, so you'll have to content yourself with the quiet buzz of the six cylinder and the whine of the manual gears--a true sampling of the sounds of 1930s-era cars.

The plush interior was redone as part of a prior restoration. The seats and door panels are covered in soft velour material and the headliner is a textured material. Sit in the front or back seat and enjoy the ample head and elbow room! A set of John Deere floor mats help continue the John Deere theme on the interior. The original Art-Deco style dashboard and instrument panel is intact and in good condition. Door decals would be a nice finishing touch, we've decided to leave that up to the new owner.
