Who is Max Motors LLC?

Our typical eBay offered VEHICLE is a one owner or off-lease, late model, with good mileage. Many of our vehicles will still be under a factory warranty.

Who Should Bid?

Only individuals who have their finances pre-approved or have cash on hand to finalize the transaction should bid on any eBay motors auctions. We take much time and dedicate a lot of energy to our listings as should be evident by the usual 30+ photo's taken of each vehicle. Please bid responsibly. You are encouraged to give us a call directly to discuss any aspect of the vehicle you are interested in to put a deal together.

What is the source for your inventory?

We have many different sources for the cars and trucks we stock. Vehicles are trade-ins or may be purchased at dealer sales, at off-lease sales, directly from large franchise dealers, from credit unions and banks. The vehicles we retail on eBay are usually late model (2002 and newer) and have good miles and may still be under a factory warranty. We resell cars with clean titles only, this means we never retail salvage, rebuilt, reconstructed, insurance claim, flood or other gray market vehicles unless specifically noted.

Do you have all titles on hand for your vehicles?

We do not always have titles on hand for vehicles that are placed for sale, titles may be in transit from banks, from other dealerships, from the state, and a host of other reasons for normal processing delays in title paperwork. We are a licensed and bonded dealer in Missouri and guarantee clear titles on all vehicles that we sell.

What 'other' fees are there besides the purchase price?

We charge a $195 dealer services fee for handling paperwork, filing titles, mailing and copying costs, these fees are fixed and non negotiable.

How is shipping of the vehicle arranged, can I get a quote?

We are happy to handle all of the details of shipping your new vehicle to its new home. Send an email to shipping@maxmotorsdirect.com with your zip code and the car or truck you need to ship, we will get back to you with a firm quote on shipping. Common shipping terms include:

Insurance - All vehicles are covered by insurance while in transit, you will need to provide insurance once you take delivery of the vehicle.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept certified cashier checks drawn on US Banks in US funds. We also accept financing checks from Capital One Auto Finance and eBay Auto Finance Center.

I live out of state, how does the buying process work if I am paying with cash in hand?

Most of our eBay transactions involve selling and shipping vehicles out of state. Here is the process broken down step by step:

Cash Purchase from Out of State

1. You place the winning bid and make the $500 credit card deposit by phone.
2. We contact each other via email and phone to finalize the transaction
3. We Overnight the paperwork to you for your signatures. We also provide and overnight return envelope to come back to us.
4. When we receive your paperwork back along with your funds, we ready the car for delivery or shipping if needed ..
5. We UPS your titling papers and copies of your signed paperwork 10 working days from the time we deposit your funds.

Great! We have done this many times. Please make arrangement to fly into Kansas City International airport or St. Louis Lambert Field Airport.. If you let us know in advance, we can arrange to meet you at the airport with your new car.

What type of service do you do to the cars before selling them?

All cars are professionally cleaned before sale. If there are any mechanical issues noted during inspection, they are addressed before the car is sold. Any issues that we elect not to fix are disclosed in full in our eBay listing.

Vehicle Condition
We take pride in our business and have almost every vehicle offered carefully inspected by a Certified Mechanic. Most vehicles have passed the Missouri State Vehicle Safety Inspection. Please keep in mind that we try to disclose all information known about the vehicle. Used vehicles will have typical scratches and/or dings inherent for their age and mileage. Some dents have been repaired by a Paintless Dent Removal system (PDR). Some scratches and door dings my have been touched up by an air brush artist. The wear and condition of every vehicle differs and is in direct relation to its age, year and mileage. We cannot guarantee that there will not be any mechanical problems. Miles posted in the listings mar vary slightly do to local test driving, in-transit repairs or road testing. No used vehicle is perfect or described as in mint condition. Used vehicles have some normal cosmetic and mechanical wear. Odometer readings may vary slightlyfrom those posted due to demo drives, demo use and reconditioning. Not all vehicles will have a spare key and remote. If you need an extra, you can have them at our cost.
