Hello vintage Ford buffs. Up for auction is probably one of the nicest mid 60's Fairlane muscle cars to ever hit Ebay. Although This was built at the Kansas City plant it has been in California its entire life, and is a vehicle that is rust free and 100% solid.There is 60,000 original miles on the car . Its fast,runs and sounds fantastic ! *No expenses were spared during the restoration* The engine is a highly detailed 289 V8 that has been rebuilt to standard specs. The exterior of the engine (as well as the compartment) has been thoroughly restored to original. The car is equipped with a 4 speed and console ,everything has been rebuilt and it literally shifts like a hot knife through butter. The rear end is the ever so popular and durable 9 inch Ford with positraction and 3.50 gears. Everything is rebuilt and as you can see in the photo's, it is completely detailed. The gas tank was boiled and had new gaskets and sending unit installed. The exhaust system is also brand new and sports a pair of 2 chamber Flow Master mufflers with 2 1/2 inch pipe. The exhaust exits out of the rear bottom 1/4 panels and is finished off with chrome tips.

The entire undercarriage was restored and sprayed with semi flat black and its wheel wells were sprayed with rubberized coating. The paint on this car was sprayed with Urethane base coat/clear coat and done in a beautiful metallic Aqua. Two thin mauve & green colored pinstripe's were professionally applied along both sides to finish everything off. The Bumpers were straightened and rechromed,the grill is an n.o.s. unit and is in mint condition. All emblems,bezels,stainless,etc are new,n.o.s., or straightened and re polished.The car has disc brakes and stops on a dime ! The 17 inch custom wheels are Boyd Coddington billet aluminum and were chosen because they closely resemble Indy magnesium Halibrand wheels from the 1960's. Although they are not a factory Ford item we opted to go with these because they add a very nice bolt on "racey" look. The tires are 225/45ZR X 17 Bridgestone potenza radials up front, and 245/45 ZRx17's in the rear. If successful bidder/buyer prefers , we will gladly take these off and replace them with a nice set of Ford magnum wheels ,and either redline or raised white letter tires. The interior was beautifully restored using a top quality reproduction kit. Everything was done back to its original Aqua color. The color combination makes the entire package very striking and it literally gets looks where ever it goes.

This little Fairlane is always a crowd pleaser at Ford meets as well as the local cruise nights. It is for sale at a fraction of the current value.
