COMMENTS: We’ve spent 5 years building this car. It's always been garaged. It’s not a "car show" winner – it’s meant to be a fun car that attracts a lot of attention. Anderson Motorsport was predicting 370 HP at the rear wheels with this set-up (on motor). We were shooting for high 11’s – low 12’s (¼ mile times) on motor. Honestly, the paint isn’t perfect, butthe color and body styleliterally slows down traffic when we roll it out on the driveway to work on it. This will be a really fun streetcar and a ton of fun at the track when finished. It needs very little work to fire up. If you hook up a battery and turn the key the starter solenoid clicks (we did not install the power wire to the starter while testing the new wiring kit so there would be no chance of turning over the engine dry.)

The envelope of receipts we have for this car is stuffed full. There's no doubt we've spent well over 10K on it. When we bought it we pulled it out of a field here in Hemet,CA. It doesn’t exist on DMV records so once it’s running you’ll have to take it down and have the lights, battery, and seatbelts inspected. WeDO NOT have a pink slip either. Please give this car a loving home and have fun with it. Call or e-mail with questions. We would be happy to answer anything you can think of. Erik (951) 265-3123 cell – or - Sara (951) 764-6475 cell. E-mail: sarabomstad@tarbell.com We have no problem helping you arrange a transport service (but we won’t pay for it). We have bought and sold cars using them and it’s really nice to have a professional transport service move the car if need be. This car is sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.

AdditionalInfo I've been asked to explain: Transmission is stock (out of an 89 mustang). I added interior pics - sorry I didn't have them up earlier. For some reason my laptop was not acknowledging my memory card. In the pictures you will see wires under the stering column - these are to the new turn signal switch - just haven't connected them to the harness yet. Also, on the other side of the dash you will see loops of wire - these are coming from the fuse panel and are EXTRA circuits - so you can add whatever you want (like a/c, bigger stereo stuff, etc) or you can cut them off. The MSD is located in the heater box and all the wires in the engine compartment have been routed in sleeving and hidden as much as possible. The line lock is mounted but not plumbed.

If i can think of anything else I'll add it. KEEP THE QUESTIONS COMING - I AM HAPPY TO ANSWER THEM. Sara sarabomstad@tarbell.com

When we got the car it was covered in blue house paint - applied with a roller! So we stripped off everything and got it down to metal. It needed a little (like an 1/8th of an inch) of bondo in a few spots on the left rear quarter and even less in various spots around the car. I would call the overall paint/body work "pretty good" but not "awesome". Then we primed and painted it with Dupont Chroma Base paint - see attached picture. Actually - we primed it and a friend who runs the local Dodge dealership body shop painted it.This is the left overs... they're probably no good, but at least you have the number if you need to match it. There are a few nicks from being in and out of the garage over the years and there is a "light" spot of paint where you can see it didn't get enough coverage on the hood in one of the "gullies". - you know how there are 2 gullies that run from front to back on the hood. Since it was painted it was never buffed out - so I'm confident there is an even brighter green just waiting to shine under there!
