Vehicle Overview You are looking at one cool old Ford. Let me start off by saying Please take the time to view all 60 Detailed photos and Read the entire description. I recently purchased this 1963 Ford Falcon 2-door off of a dealer friend of mine who took it in on trade. I am a falcon nut, I own a 1962 Futura with 21,000 original miles in this same color of yellow, and I have a 1962 2-door wagon with a factory 4-speed, so I could not resist the idea of having another hod rod Falcon in the collection. I am not sure what this car started life out as, but here is what it is now. It is powered by a wicked built 289ci V8 Punched out .60 over, with competition pistons, competition cam, and Edlebrock Carb. This was built by Whiteman Competition, and Balanced by Pittsburgh Crank in 2002. It is matted to a Tremec 5-speed Manual Racing transmission with a New Clutch, and Pressure Plate. There Rear end is a Ford 8.8 LOKAR, with 3:88 Lakewood Gears. This car is Quick!!! It sounds INCREDIBLE, with the headers feeding into Dual FlowMaster Mufflers. This Car turns the heads of young and old everywhere you take it. The Fuel tank has been removed and a fuel cell was installed from Summit Racing. The car has been Converted from a 4 lug to a 5 lug set up with Disc Brakes in the Front. The Ford stands on a great vintage looking set of ARE Torque Thrust Wheels. When the Previous owner purchased this car it had no interior so he put one in from a 1992 pontiac grand am. Now my plan was to take this car over this coming winter and put an original interior back in it, and put a new paint job on it. Now I would personally rate this paint job a 6.5 0ut of 10. It looks great from 5 feet away, however if you look close there are some marks, scratches, chips, fish eys, and some blemishes here and there. Much of this might wet sand out and then you could do some touch up to it. I am going to leave it up to the next owner. Some people will think this is a perfect paint job for a hot rod driver like this. I am being extra critical for I would rather you be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed upon delivery. The main things I think the car needs are 1. I would replace the interior. 2. I would put a ford steering wheel back in it. 3. There is a stone chip in the windshield, I would replace the Windshield.
