You are bidding on a 1959 (last year forFord's retractable) skyliner, this car is "turnkey" ready for show winning or just cruzzin the burger joints.

The owner has had this Skyliner for about 11 years, it was restored when he purchased it, Has always been garaged during his ownership and I would say from its condition, ( many years before he owned her). His kids are getting older and in the past few years the Skyliner has not been used much, spends most of the time in his garage (driven less than 75 miles last year), So he has decided to let her go to a new home where it will be enjoyed more. You don't see many retractable's in this condition come up for sale.

Original 352 V-8 engine with the Fordomatic automatic transmission, runs & drives great, original generator has been replaced with a Alt. wide white radial tires have replaced the old bias ply. (spare is still the original bias Mohawk that has never been on the ground), Interior was done before he bought her in a red & white velor material (non-original but looks very nice) red lap seat-belts added in the front, wonderbar radio (works, as do all gauges). chrome Cont. kit on rear, chrome rear wheel skirts.

The retractable hardtop works as well as it did in 1959, both retracting and going back up.

This Skyliner is located in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, zip 83815, east of Spokane Washington (state) just off I-90.
