This '59 T-Bird is a rare find! She is a documented Thunderbird, which has been owned and maintained by the same person since new; a Ford Dealer Service Manager. This classic has been loved and cared for her entire life! The original 352 CID engine was pulled and set aside so a more powerful 428 CID Cobra-Jet V-8 could be added. When ordering this classic, the owner opted for the column mounted 3-Speed Manual Transmission, Undercoating, Sun Ray Wheel Covers, Magicaire Heater, Backup Lights, and more. This car is documented with the Window Sticker, Build Sheet, and more! This classic is in amazing unrestored condition, with less than 38,000 original miles!

The interior is in showroom condition! The two-tone seats are beautiful and show no wear. The carpet, door panels, and dash are all perfect with no scrapes, fading, cracks, or deterioration. The gauge lenses are haze free and the chrome is brilliant. The factory controls work, except for the AM radio. The trunk opens with the dash-mounted button. The trunk mat is in good condition and the pans are rot free. With the power top up, the trunk provides ample storage. The white power top raises and lowers from a trunk-mounted switch. The top is in excellent condition and the isinglass is in great shape. All the glass is in great condition!

The exterior is clean and straight with the original paint. The body shows no signs of rust or damage. The body lines are clean and the body fitment is excellent. Near the trunk and hood latches, there are minor impressions, likely from pushing the lids closed. The paint is nice and shines brightly in the sun. There are a couple of stone chips, which have been touched up. All the chrome is in very good condition. The undercarriage is solid with no rot or damage. She has two sets of wheels. One set is Kelsey-Hayes polished chrome wires and the other is the factory steel wheel with Sun Ray wheel covers. Both sets come with the car. The sale includes one new set of four tires; buyer's choice black wall or white wall and bias-ply or radial.

As you would expect from a car owned and maintained by a Service Manager, this car is in top mechanical condition! Everything works as it should. The potent 428 CID Cobra-Jet V-8 comes to life easily and provides plenty of power. She is driven through the column mounted three-speed manual transmission, delivering power to the 3.70:1 rear axle. The car feels well balanced and handles better than many Squarebirds we have driven. The drum brakes provide ample braking. The original 352CID engine comes with this classic, but is not installed.

• It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle you are purchasing meets your criteria. Your pre-purchase inspection is strongly encouraged.

• The vehicle is being offered As-Is No Warranty. Optional Third-party Service Agreements may be available for the vehicle. If the buyer elects to purchase these products, all terms will be disclosed for buyer’s review prior to purchase.

• If the vehicle is for sale in an auction format, we reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early at any time should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.

• An agreement to purchase a vehicle is made when the purchase price of the vehicle is agreed upon by both parties. Upon this agreement:

1. There is a $180 documentation fee for the preparation & delivery of all the necessary sales paperwork.

2. A deposit of 10% of the purchase price, or the deposit listed in the ad (whichever is less), is due within 24 hours of agreeing to purchase the vehicle. We accept Visa or MasterCard, and PayPal for vehicle deposits (up to 10% of the purchase price). Deposits are fully refundable if the vehicle does not pass the purchaser’s pre-purchase inspection.

3. The full balance is due within three (3) business days of agreeing to purchase the vehicle.

4. If financing, please make sure that your financial institution will finance this vehicle.

5. We require deposit of and verification of bank funds before we will release the vehicle to you.

6. The buyer is responsible for the prompt pickup or shipping of the vehicle. We will be happy to arrange the shipping on your behalf.
