Here we have a 1971 Ford Torino Cobra equipped with the original, very strong 351C 4V engine and a C6 transmission. The engine is dressed with a Ford Motorsport engine kit and is equipped with an air-gap style 4 bbl aluminum intake topped off by a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb and breather. The original Power Steering works as designed, and the alternator was recently replaced bringing the electical to good working order. The 9" rear is intact, and the C6 auto is a major plus, and has a speed-shift floor shifter for those who really want to take control. The car is equipped with original Cobra emblems front and rear, factory louvers, and a 71-73 spoiler that hugs the deck nicely. The 69 style hood scoop and spoiler could use a little attention, but are intact and will come back nicely with a little care. On the ground we have 14x7 Magnum 500 wheels with 69 Shelby Cobra caps rolling on 245/60/14 Grand Am Radial GT tires. The paint is Grabber Blue with black accents on the front and rear bumper, grill and spoiler, and a pair of factory sport mirrors. The previous owner added some additional Cobra logos, a nice console, a rally-sport wheel, and a nice Sunpro tach to finish out the look and function. This car comes to us from a private owner's collection, and is a nice, good running car.
