What I have for sale is A Movie Car Look Alike! This one could have been seen in the movie "Gran Torino" with Clint Eastwood. It has been restored to look like Clint's car. The 1972 Ford Gran Toriino Sport Fastback was just painted the original 4Q dark green metallic (Ford's color). All the resotoration has just been completed. All the chrome was rechromed. The 16 inch (YES, I said 16 inch) magnum 500 U.S.A. weldon wheels were rechromed. Tire size front 225-60 R16 and rear 235-60 R16. All the exterior metal was taken off, straightened and polished. All rubber and felt was chnged out around the windows and doors. The yellow that fades to green side laser strip is a copy of the original opition offered back in 1972. all four headlights have been changed out with new halogens. The grill and the grill surround are in perfect condition and hs been refinished. The front end has been rebuilt.The rear end suspension has been redone with some K.Y.B. parts. New brakes all around, Disc in the front, shoes in the back, new master cylinder. The interior, the dash pad like new, new floor carpet, redone door and side panels.full working gauges. (All Original) A new giant steering wheel has been put in the original one comes with the car (see photo). This three spoke wood grain wheel was an option and is very hardto come by now. The upholstery has been put back to the original pattern, black vinyl and black cloth inserts. The door panels have speakers and the original square covers. This car has power windows, a very rare option in 1972. I love this option, they work very well and for a hard top you want the windows down, but when you it the freeway there is nothing better than to hit the button for windows UP! a new windshield was put in, tinted on top. The engine is all stock as far as I know, it is a Ford 400 2V. The transmission is a C6 automatic with92,300 miles on the engine and it burns on oil. it blows no oil and it starts everytime. This car runs very well at 70 mph. I get 15 mpg on regular pump gas. Powert steering true and straight down the road. The engine compartment has been kept very clean over the years. Good to show off, all stock. The A/C has a new belt plus 3 lb of the new 134A refrigerant with no leaks showing up. A lot of cold air output. The car has an AM/FM radio (original I think) 5 speakers.
