Let me start by saying I had the pleasure of driving this car before I listed it. I was AMAZED how good the car drove for a 1950!! Started very easy, drives and stops very straight. Rides great, has straight pipe exhaust down the sides, (NEW) that sounds awsome!! We drove passed about 10 different people working in there yards, and every one of them stopped and stared. THIS CAR TURNS HEADS, PERIOD!! I will describe below all the fine details. Engine is the original 255 flathead V-8. Motorwas rebuiltby the previous owner, starts easy, runs great, no smoke or leaks. Transmission is a 3 speed overdrive transmission, rebuiltbythe previous ownerwith a new clutch. Shifts very smooth. Overdrive hasnt been hooked up, and trans has a very small leak. Suspension is all new, 4 inch drop Jamco with all new coils, leafsprings, shocks, shackles, and bumps. Has rebuilt fuel pump, new gas tank and new sending unit. (Sending unit needs hooked up) Interior is brand new, and BEAUTIFUL!!! Stock pattern, inners pleated. NEED TO SEE THE INTERIOR IN PERSON, IT IS SUPER NICE. Bodyis straight with new trunk pan. It has been nosed, decked, and the headlights frenched. Chrome is all new. Has trunk release inside gas door. Has stock antenna. Side glass and wings are new, with new felts. Also has new rear window seal. Paint is new California Flatz, color is copper. Has all new brakes and wheel cylinders. Converted to 12 volt system. Original generator convereted to give the original look. Has Ron Frances converter for the gauges. Rebel wiring. He has the stock radio that comes with it. This car's picture is in this months edition of Ol' SKOOL RODZ. 37 Edition, page 78. The car was built to look like it came straight out of the 50's. No Nova subframe, small block Chevy, ect. This is a way cool car that looks like it drove out of the 50' s straight to 2009. The car needs a few things such as: Fuel gauge hooked up, oil pressure gauge hooked up, speedometer hooked up. Wires are ran to the front signals and horn, but not hooked up. THIS IS ONE NICE CLASSIC CAR!!RESERVE IS WELL BELOW WHAT IT IS WORTH!! HE HAS PRICED IT TO SELL!!! HE HAS A FULL SET OF ORIGINAL CHROME THAT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATE!!! THE OWNER HAS STARTED ANOTHER PROJECT, AND WANTS TO SELL THIS ONE TO FINISH HIS OTHER.
