THEN WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT, WE HOT FOOTED IT OVER TO SAN JOSE WITH A TRAILER AND QUICKLY PURCHASED THIS PIECE OF HISTORY, A ONE OF A KIND MERCURY. WE THEN DECIDED TO NOT FULLY RESTORE HER BUT RATHER TO SHOW HER AS A PERIOD CORRECT EXAMPLE OF A VERY NICELY AND MILDLY CUSTOMIZED 1951 MERCURY. THIS STYLE OF CUSTOMIZING MAKES IT A TRUE TEENAGE DREAM CAR OF THE 1950’S.
