1964 mercury comet model 404

car in same family and garaged all its life - bought new in derby ct at murphy moters- have orig 64 ct title in hand, also car has all org manuels and docs from dealer. car has a straight 6cyl w/ a 3spd on tree manual trans that runs incredible. car is a model 404 wich included chrome package ashtrays & lighter (never used). there is no rot on car only 1 spot on top on pass fender where it looks like at one time some brake fluid droped on beautiful blk laquar paint and bubbled up (easy fix) and a couple of the chrome comet letters on quaters missing - bolted single in trunk, loosend and fell off over yrs(common) they could be found cheep on internet - other than this exterior & undercarrage unremarkable condition ! the interior is flawless blk/wht strip/tweed look w/all blk/chrome dash that all lokks new only 1 seam on front seat on drive side 7in long needs restich. many new parts w/ repair orders which includenew front end, shocks, starter, batt & gen.- fuel pump, radiator, belts&hoses, brakes all around, car even has org chrome wipers still on. car har all org 14' steel wheels w/ 60 series tires on rear & 70's on front and org chrome hubs w/ trim rings. new shackell kit on rear gives this car a very blk spooky tuff look even for a sedan !this is a same as revised description because ebay wiped out first by mistake. car is sold as-is w/ no warrenty - also for sale local, right to end auction early. i just drove car to upstate ny from ct shore (excellent ride)- drive anywhere or ship at own expense !
