Hello, This is my 1969 Mercury Cougar. It has a 351W. Runs and drives excellent. 3 speed automatic tranny. This car has no rust. I bought this car in Dec 08, and since then I have dumped tons of money into this car. The guy I got the car from said he rebuilt the engine at 60,000 miles. He also told me that it a full roller engine. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the parts list that he used for this rebuild. Also, I am not sure if it is the original engine that came in the car. It does have a Holly 4bl carb. Additionally, I don't thing that this car was a frame off restoration, but is in excellent condition, to include the undercarriage.

Things that are new. Paint, wheels, tires, electric fan, steering box, thermostat, Valve covers, MSD super conductor spark wires, MSD high vibration Coil, vacuum system for headlights, hood hinges and springs, air cleaner with factory decal, center console, 4 point racing harnesses, front and rear speakers, package tray with insulation, and many other miscellaneous interior parts that were missing.

As you can see this car is in great shape, and is a blast to drive. It used to be blue when I got it. I didn't like the color that is why I changed the color. Besides I think it looks better. Even the door jams have been painted. It has cut springs in the front and raised in the rear for a killer look. Also, has traction bars and even a valve on the brake cylinder to lock the front brakes so you can spin the rear. This car has not been raced since I have owned it. Just there if you need it. Will fire right up. The Odometer reads 62903 miles. I have no way of verifying if it has rolled over or not. I think that it has not though because of it's condition. It is mileage exempt anyway. Rear tires are 255/70/15 and front are 205/70/14 bfgoodrich radial at tires. Wheels are 14x7 front and 15x8 in rearThis car is about 98% restored. Things that are needed to make it 100% are as follows: It could use door hinge bushings, the drivers side window does not roll up straight so the track will need to be adjusted(I never have the windows up anyway thats why I never fixed it), and last the front and rear bumpers could use a rechrome. Which none of these effect the drivability/function of the car.

The reason for selling is I want to downsize and get some room back in my garage. This car stays in the garage under a cover. I bought the car for 8k and have put 10k in parts. So make me an offer. I will through in all the extra parts I have for the car if wanted. If you have any questions, please let me know. I'm sure that if you have read this far, I will probably be hearing from you. Shoot me an email or call me at 321-412-0299. This car is not perfect, but in great shape for 40 years old. I am also selling a 2004 Nissan Quest (Please see my other auction). Now for the legal stuff. Shipping will be the buyers responsibility. There will be 1000.00 deposit required within 24 hrs of auction close. Even though this car is in excellent shape, it is used and 40+ years old so it is being sold in AS IS condition. Thanks for looking and I hope to do business with you.
