IN 1972 OLDSMOBILE PRODUCED ONLY 1058 442 CONVERTIBLES, BUT THIS PARTICULAR 442 IS VERY UNUSUAL,, BORN WITH SPECIAL ORDER CODE 65 “FLAME ORANGE” PAINT… THIS OLDS 442 WAS BUILT AT THE LANSING MICHIGAN PLANT.. THE BODY ON THIS RARE OLDS 442 IS VERY STRAIGHT WITH NICE LINES, THE CAR WAS PROFESSIONALLY PAINTED THE FACTORY COLOR OF FLAME ORANGE 8 YEARS AGO AND IT STILL LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. WE WOULD RATE THE PAINT AS DRIVER QUALITY.. THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS ARE ORIGINAL AND LOOK REAL NICE. THE GRILLES ARE IN MINT SHAPE AND LOOK GREAT. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE WITH EASE, THE CHROME TRIM IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THIS OLDS HAS OPTIONAL SPORT MIRRORS WITH DRIVERS REMOTE. THE FLOORS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO ISSUES.. THE FRAME IS VERY CLEAN WITH NO SIGNS OF REPAIR OR RUST. THIS 442 HAS BRIGHT WHEEL OPENING MOLDINGS. THE BLACK POWER TOP IS 3 YEARS OLD AND WORKS GREAT, THIS 442 SITS ON OLDSMOBILE RALLY II WHEELS WITH NEW RADIAL TIRES. THE INTERIOR OF THIS GOOD LOOKING OLDSMOBILE IS VERY IMPRESSIVE.. NICE WHITE UPHOLSTERY WITH GREAT BLACK CARPET AND DOOR PANELS. THE DASH IS IN GREAT SHAPE, OPTIONS INCLUDE, BUCKET SEATS, CONSOLE W/ CORRECT SHIFTER AND FACTORY AM / FM RADIO, OVERALL THE INTERIOR IS BEAUTIFUL. EVEN THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WORK. IN THE VERY CLEAN TRUNK IS THE SPARE TIRE ON FIFTH RALLY WHEEL AND JACK. UNDER THE HOOD IS PRETTY MUCH THE WAY SHE CAME, DETAILED A BIT AND CLEAN. ALL THE DECALS ARE STILL PRESENT. THE ORIGINAL 350 CI 4 BBL ENGINES RUNS PERFECT. THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS AND CARB ARE CORRECT. ALSO NOTICE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES, THE ENGINE BAY IS FACTORY APPEARANCE. THE ORIGINAL AIR CLEANER HAS THE CORRECT DECAL AS WELL AS THE HEAT RISER STILL INTACT. THE TRANS IS THE TH350. A HIGH QUALITY FLOWMASTER DUAL EXHAUST PRODUCES A GREAT SOUND WITH CORRECT TRUMPETS OUT THE CUT OUT BUMPER.
