1961 Oldsmobile F85 Deluxe Wagon 215 Aluminum V8/ Automatic 133,000 miles (shows 33,000 but …..) This is a very rare wagon originally from the southern California desert . I still have the original California black plates. I bought the car seven years ago and brought it back to Massachusetts. It has been stored winters and used only on nice days. The car is extremely solid and original. It runs very strong. In the last few years I have gone through and redone the brakes, full tune up, muffler/tailpipe, transmission service with new fluid filter and pan gasket etc. The tires have little wear . Most of the car however is original and 47 years old! I use it for around town cruising, but I have never taken it on a long trip.It does smoke slightly on start up, but clears up. It burns no oil. It has a current Mass inspection sticker. The exterior is rock solid. There is a small rust hole at the bottom of the passenger door. The rest of the sheet metal is DESERT SOLID. The paint is faded on the roof and hood. The side paint is good and glossy. The rear bumper is bent and rusted. I have a spare rear bumper (which is slightly bent), but either can be repaired and replated. The front bumber is really nice. All the stainless is present and .nothing is missing. A few dings here and there, but again all can be repaired and all is in really nice shape….as is. All glass is perfect. The interior door panels and seat covers are original DELUXE three tone maroon red and white….this was the DELUXE WAGON! The rear window is POWER! The seat covers have pulled apart at the seams. The door panels are good. The material and emboss details are AVAILABLE if you wish to restore. The headliner fell apart and I pulled it out. I am including a new headliner with recovered visors. The carpet is fairly new salt and pepper Tuxedo red and black as original. This is a rare and unique car. My hope is that it goes to someone who has an interest in old wagons or Oldsmobiles. I just have no time in my life right now for three old cars. I sold this car last fall on EBay. The sale fell through because the buyer did not have money. IF you can’t pay, PLEASE DON’T BID.
