This PlymouthSport Fury 383,330hpwas sold new in Dallas, Tx by Oakley Motors. Repainted one time since new and with the original interior except for new Legendary seat covers this car attracts everyone at a car show. Equipped with a newely built 440 block, balanced with new TRW 11.2 to 1 pistons, Crower roller cam, Crane roller rocker arms, original max wedge heads and cross ram with original Carter 3447 carbs and exhaust this engine is more than 425 hp. A 3 inch exhaust system with flowmasters and 2 1/2 inch tail pipes sound powerful without excess noise. The 8 3/4 rear end has 3.91 gears with posi-trac and Moser axles. 1960s Chrysler reversed wheels with GoodYear Eagle ST tires and 1960 Plymouth hub caps look like the understated sleepers of the 60s. The original console tack works though not with the hidden Crane ignition and the orginal 14 inch spare is in the trunk. The original window sticker is kept with theowners manual with the vin number on the front cover. One small spot of rust can be seen at the top of theright rear wheel well 1/8x1 inch that was repaired at some earlier time. The original engine goes with the car to return it to original and was running well when removed. Much original paperwork has stayed with the car also. If you can run the clock back to 1964, this is a car to enjoy driving to the local drive in with power to spare or to take to the MOPAR car show and run it down the track a few times.
