Vehicle Description
This is a 1932 Plymouth PB Coupe. This is a all steel car with it's original floor and trunk. This car is a ground up build (see photos). Much of the work was professionally done: boxing the frame, filling the roof, aligning doors, making a new one piece drip rail, smooth firewall, fuel door, etc. The engine is a 1954 331 Hemi with large port heads that have new stainless valves, new guides, springs, andbushed rockers. The block is 30 over with Ross forged pistons, 10/10 crank, balanced with all new internals. It has a Edmunds 2 x 2 intake with one NOSand one NORS carb. They are Carter WCD carbs. The transmission is a rebuilt 727 torqueflight with a Hurst auto stick shifter. The rear end is a rebuilt 8 3/4 742 clutch type posi unit with 3.91 gears and new Dutchman axles. The front end has a chromed axle and drag link with chrome tie rod ends. The front wheels areAmerican Torque Thrust 15 x 4.5 The rear wheels are ET Gasser 16 x 11. Being a machinist many of these parts are custom made: the steering column and drop, engine / trans mounts, gas and brake pedals, polished front caliper mounts that hold polished Willwood calipers, etc. This is a very nice car.Thepaint isgloss black base coat,clean coat, wetsanded and buffed. Nearly every part on this car is new or rebuilt. There is no upholstery other than the seat.It is loudand noisey without the upholstery. The car has just been assembled and needs to have a few of the usual bugs worked out. This car runs and is driveable. I have put about 120 miles on it since it was built.
