One of the most correct 1970 Superbirds in existence!

On May 6, 1971, James Edward Moss of Salisbury, NC took delivery of this Superbird from Foil Motor COmpany of , NC. In 1985, a friend of mine purchased this Bird from Mr. Moss, in North Carolina. The car had been well cared for it's entire life, and had never suffered any body damage whatsoever.

The car retained all of it's original body panels, and, most importantly, the trunk floor, floor pans and frame rails were absolutely perfect.

In the glove box of the car was the ORIGINAL WIndow Sticker and the ORIGINAL Factory Warranty Booklet and the ORIGINAL Owner's Manual.

Options on this Bird A36-Performance Axle Package; B41-Power Disc Brakes/Front; B51-Power Brakes; C16-Console; G15-Tinted Windshield; J45-Hood Pins; J55-Undercoating; S77-Power Steering; W23-Chrome Style Road Wheels. This was a special order car!

The car was brought back to Ohio and sat for ten years. In 1995, a multi-year restoration process was initiated. The entire car was disassembled. The factory undercoating was carefully scraped from the underside of the car. The entire car was media and repainted in the correct Lemon Twist Yellow, by Bill Rice of Chesterland, Ohio, who has painted a number of cars that have taken First Place awards at the Mopar Nationals.

The original, numbers matching 440 Super Commando engine and the original, numbers matching A727 Torqueflite 3 Speed Automatic transmission were disassembled and restored to factory specs. No overbore was necessary on the original block.

Special car was taken to reuse all of the original parts on this car. Where original parts could not be reused, correct, date coded components were substituted. All original glass was reused. All original trim was reused. All original chrome was redone. The ORIGINAL Chrome Road Wheels were reused.

Over a ten year period, this car was laboriously and painstakingly restored to it's ORIGINAL factory condition. Now done, the car is absolutely stunning. The body is absolute perfection! This is not a "kit car Superbird". This is the real thing. ALL ORIGINAL body panels. ALL original drive train. ORIGINAL and dash. ORIGINAL date-coded 1970 Superbird components. The ORIGINAL Window Sticker and Original Factory Warranty Book.

This car can be inspected at our 17000 square foot facility in Mentor, Ohio, six days per week. For those of you who need to fly in, we can provide transportation to and from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. We can also provide accommodations within walking distance of our facility.

We can transport your vehicle to you in an enclosed carrier. Cost depends on mileage and location.
