Up for auction is a 68 Satellite convertible. I found this car in a salvage yard andsaved from being crushed. As you can see there are many items missing, but it does have some potential. It was a 3832bbl auto console car. The engine and trans are gone, but the rear is there. The suspension looks to be intact along wiith the K frame. The inner fenders are solid and so is the radiator support. The fenders are fixable along with the quarters which do have some rust thru.The trunk from the back window back is decent along with the rear frame. There is rust thru in the front of the trunk bekow the back window. The floor boards on the drivers side are fairly solid, but the rear passenger has rust thru and the front passenger is bad along with the torsion bar/ trans support. There are a couple of other Satellite/Roadrunners in this yard that have good torsion bar frames that could be bought. This car is about 11/2 hrs from Carlisle and the owner of the yard said they would get wheels and tires on it so it can be moved. If you have any questions pleasae email me. For those bidding I do not want to leave anything out. There is also rust thru on the passenger side if the trans tunnel under the dash again the drivers is still there, but there will need to be some pelacing of metal on the tunnel by the firewall.
