Rare 1960 Pontiac Catalina 2 door hard top. Original Shelltone Ivory with Maroon interior.Freshly rebuilt 1960 389 4 bbl. Stock rebuild with mild street cam.This car runs strong and can be driven anywhere. The transmission is an automatic. It drips a little fluid, but shifts fine. Brakes are power drums,which have been gone through.New wheel cylinders, master cylinder. Front suspension - Upper & lower ball joints, outer tie rods, pitman arm, & center link have all been replaced & front end has been aligned. New shocks all the way around. Thiscar has power steering and drivesgreat. Tires are BFGoodrich Silvertown wide white radials with about 3,000 miles on them. Wheels are 15" steelies with Lancer caps.New dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. All lights, gauges& turn signals work properly.

When I got this car last year, it had been sitting and was virtually untouched. From what I can tell, this car has never been repainted and hasn't had any body work done. It hasa few minor rust issues. The front fenders have typical lower rust spots, the rockers have a few small holes as well at the front. ( See Pics ) The rear floors in front of the back seat are rusted through, and someone installed patch panels before I got the car. I decided to leave it alone since it can't be seen very easily. The trunk floor is rusty around the rear edge. The entire floor on the insideof the car has been painted with Chassis Saver. Quarter panels, doors, hood, trunk lid, and front floorsare not rusty. The body is in good shape for its age. Trim on the body is good and it's all there. Bumpers are decent. Car is equipped with left & right side mirrors as well.

The interior is very original as well. The front seat is torn on the driver's side and the foam is bad. I have new foam that goes with the car. The back seat upholstery was dry-rotted, so the seat has been removed & disassembled. The seat springs & foam for the back seat are in good shape. The door panels are original and the bottoms are tattered. The side panels for the back seat are in better shape, but they all need to be replaced. The headliner is not terrible, but has come undone at the seam and should also be replaced.I had new carpet from ACC installed as well as new sill plates,kick panels & rear package tray. The dash has a metal top and is in great shape. The steering wheel was originally Maroon & Clear, but the clear rotted off. Still a good wheel with a few cracks. The windshield has 2 minor 'bullseyes', but not vey noticeable. The rear window & side glass is all in great shape.

These cars are getting hard to find & you hardly ever see one on the road, especially a 2 door hard top. This car is a good, reliable driver with lots of potential. It has great patina & gets lots of attention at cruises & shows. You can drive & enjoy it now & fix it up a little as you go. Clear CO title.I have a few extra parts that will go with the car.
