1960 Pontiac Catalina
TRI POWER!Adult owned and driven with 19,487 miles on the odometer. original miles unknown. We found this 3 owner gem in the dry climate of Albuquerque New Mexico right off old Route 66! We hesitate to describe any 49 year old automobile as Rust Free, but we can't find any!

This vintage Poncho features the powerful 389 engine with correct tri power setup. The engine is original to the car and the tri power
option is correct for the 1960 model year! The carbs have been rebuilt and are configured with progressive linkage setup. The heads have also been recently done.
Holds a good 40 lbs. of oil pressure and the temp stays right around 170 F. The transmission is Pontiac's 4 speed Hydramatic, and shifts and downshifts smoothly. Rear end is 2:69 ratio.

The car starts runs quietly with newish turbo mufflers and stops flawlessly with manual steering and brakes.
It will get 18 MPG running on the primary carb. When you step on it, the fun begins as those secondarys kick in! The ride is very tight with no rattles or squeaks......It drives like new! All gauges, horn orig a.m. radio etc. work. There is a glove box mounted a.m. f.m. cassette deck with front and rear mount speakers.
The interior and orig door panels are in great condition with minor wear. The dash and cluster and steering wheel are beautiful, The dash has orig paint in good condition for it's age . The original factory trunk mat is in great shape and so is the trunk pan...no rust! All glass is good. Windshield has one stone bruise. 2 speed wipers and heater work.Wheels are Newish torque thrust D's with new tires.
(less than 200 miles)The factory valve covers and hubcaps will be included with the car as well as enough material and vinyl to recover the front seat. There is no wear, but it is slightly faded. The fresh air grilles are off but included and there is correct blue hardboard to make new kick panels.The one re paint is nice but showing a little age and has slight road rash on front of hood, and some checking on the upper passenger side quarter and leading fender edge. Bumpers and stainless are very nice. This car is a survivor in wonderful condition that needs nothing to drive, enjoy and show off at the cruise ins and car shows!DISCLAIMER: I am in no way representing this car as a factory built tri power car. I was informed by the previous owner that it features the correct 1960 Pontiac tri power option......Intake and carbs. by whom and when installed......Dealer installation? previous owner to the man i purchased it from? Factory? We don't know.
