1967 PONTIAC CATALINA "ONE COOL CAT"

Take one clean and original 67 Catalinasittin low, add some Astro Supremes, and set it on FIRE with some Watson Styled Flames and you have the recipe for ONE COOOOOL CAT! If you don't dig attention this car ain't for you!

This Catalina started life as a bone stock 82,000 mile car. I purchased this car from an older gentleman in Kannapolis NC who was the second or third owner. In the glove compartment was all the dealer paperwork, a stack of receiptsand a hand written by the original owner repair and maintenance log that shows all the maintenance done to the car right up to 80,000 miles. It now shows 82,300 I am told that is original and I believe it. All of the dealers paperwork shows the car was purchased new in Kannapolis NC which is the same townI bought it from. Init's 42 years of life it has always called Kannapolis NC home.

This car runs and drives excellent, the 400fires right up when you hit the key and idles smooth. No noises just the rumble of the new dual exhaust. The trans shifts excellent firm and at the right rpms like it should. There is a ton of new stuff added to the car lets start under the hood. New finned aluminum $200 valve covers, matching $100 finned aluminium air cleaner. New Summit racing electric choke 650 carb, edelbrock aluminum intake, new battery, new voltage regulator, new points, rotor, cap, wires and plugs, new hoses, new fuel pump & glass filter. Oil was just changed again, new dual exhaust, new front rubber brake hoses and wheel cylinders, the shoes were recently changed beforeI got it, new front shocks. It rolls on Brand new Supreme rims with brand new tires. It also has Bullet shaped Lugs and Bullet Center Caps.Inside a new moon metalflake steering wheel.

So you can see a bunch of stuff has been done already I am sure I am forgetting some stuff as well.

The body was solid overall being a NC car it's whole life it had a few small spots that needed attention. The floors and frame look great from whatI can see. I have never had a reason to have the car on a lift. The trunk floor looks like the day it rolled off the showroom. We don't use road salt in NC so it really saves the older cars from rotted floors. The body was scuffed down, the spots that needed attention were fixed and it was flat blacked. Then in a two week process (a ton of MASKING and pinstriping on all those flames) the flames were layed down in a nickel color with a pinstriped blood red outline. You need to see it in person to appreciate it, everywhere I take this car it draws a crowd. The car was also pinstriped on the glove box door, hood and trunk and engine compartmentto add some extra flair.

The interior is in great original shape, the seats look like they were re-done at some time. Everything else down to the rug is original. It still has all the seat belts, and a cool radio shack cassette added in the 70's still plays great.

I drive this car often it always starts right up and has never let me down. It runs and drives great if you have never driven a "Wide Track" Pontiac it is like driving your couch down the road! the car just floats along! I often park it run into the storeto come out to people with cell phone cameras popping pics. It's cool and it's cheap you couldn t build this car for whatI am selling it for. This car is a driver it's not a Barret Jackson show car so don't expect that for this money.
