This is a formula 455 ho 4 speed with air, the air option is the rarest option on this car , I think they only made 7 with air total and out of the 7 two 4 speeds came with air out of the 35 4 speeds cars. The way this car optioned its a one of one, all I know this car is the rarest and meanest bird there is. This rare bird has been babied all its life, this car is 99% original, down to the floor mats , the motor has never been rebuilt and runs like the day it was bought, see driving vid, and walk around vid, The interior of the car is mint and has never been recovered, the original owner never took the car over 100 miles an hour, and the 70K miles on the car is all high way, the reason I say 99% original is because it had one repaint, but besides that this car can be considered a survivor, because the engine has never been rebuild or the trans , and has full power, again see driving vid. I am a avid car collector and have many rare pieces, but I never had a big block car that the motor is still virgin and does not need to be touched, the trans is the original m22, that shifts so smoothly, this car has planet revolving torque and will impress the most hard core horsepower junkies. I have every dealer paper, and even have the paint chips from the dealer were you can choose a color on your order. That alone is worth a small mint. Pontiac guys will go crazy knowing you have this, because they can never get the original color right on there cars. This car is mint, the interior is mint , the dealer installed 8 track is mint, the door panels are mint, the engine and trans is mint, the original floor mats are mint and still their, the car still retains its original Polly glass spare, witch is unbelievable. I have to mention the exhaust manifold used to leak,but completely fixed now, they had to pull the motor out to get at it and mill the manifold flat, they pulled the oil pan on the engine and the internals look like the day it left the factory , the original owner change the oil every 3000k miles, but they did put a new oil pump in it, to be on the safe side,timing chain ,oil pan gasket,valve cover gaskets and cleaned and painted the motor before they reinstalled,besides that the motor is 100% original and virgin ,all original components. That is un heard of on a 455 car because they were all blown up , it runs like day one, Because the original owner never raced it and respected the car. This car also has a new clutch, have all receipts to work done to the car in 04. I also have to mention it has a 73 core support in it , it was change when it was painted years ago, it was tweaked from a small fender bender, no damage to the frame or even the rubber bumper. You have the chance to own the rarest 71 Pontiac available, and does not need much money to be number one, In light of the fact you do not need to touch the drive train, or the interior, just cosmetically. this car was taken care off all for it life as you can tell buy the interior. look at the carpet its 37 years old and is mint.
