my personal "baby" is regrettably being offered due to a recent divorce. i restore these 66,67,gto,lemans,tempest's in my spare time,i had 9,now am at 5. This gem was purchased by me in 1992,in the toledo ohio area,where it sat being restored for 10 years,(i am not that patient). when i got it it was painted,but not rubbed out yet,had masking tape,and paper all over it.It is in great shape! I got the PHS on it and it had the origonal motor in it,which i drove for a couple years,then had a 2500$ rebuild done to it. It has @ 15 miles on it...to the trailer,off the trailer,to the show space,to the trailer,to the heated garage,on the red carpet ,and,to the corner,back from the corner, to the carpet...you get the drift!after a few years,in2002,i restored it myself,nowIts triple black,has a tilt column,stock black flawless steering wheel,am-fm,8-track,4 spd. console,new vinal top,3.50 moon gear,with an auburn 5 spring posi carried,muncie 4 spd,re-jetted-65 tripower,comp cam,desert cooler radiator,new stock dual exhaust,chromed belt line,and vinal top moldings to match the trim better,air shocks,new goodyear tires,new carpet,and headliner, unrestored seats,doorpanels,dash,..thats how clean they are,i went with sikkens black paint,and itis beautiful..like they say" it better be perfect to go black" and it is! this car has not seen a drop of water since we wet sanded it! there was no floor/trunk rust at all,still had factory paint on them. the only bodypanel rust was the lower rears at the molding line which we rewelded perfectly,and it had the dogleg areas usual wear. i replaced the front fenders with almost flawless 66 gto onesi had been saving...well i could goon for hours about all the things on this car, but i will let serious investor/enthusiests talk to me personally,seems easier!
