I am selling this wonderful 1955 Pontiac Star Chief
here on Ebay for a local classic/vintage car collector.
This car was purchased at the Owl’s Head Transportation Museum Auction
in 1990 by the present owner, and has been in storage since then.
Because it has been in storage, the car was recently tuned up
by a reputable garage that deals in classic cars.
The garage also did front end and brake work
on the vehicle. This car is in good running condition. Please take the time to read the description

begin at $23,000 for those in fair condition and move up to $85,500
for those in showroom condition. This car is in good running condition,
with many of the original features still intact.
And it looks great as well! Odometer Reads 21,088 but total mileage is undetermined.
When the present owner purchased the car, the description stated that the vehicle had been mechanically restored, frame up with a rebuilt motor and transmission, and was stated to "run excellent, a good driving car." The car has been repainted at some point by a previous owner. I did not put the top down to take pictures, so I don't have information about the top.As mentioned, additional work has been done to this vehicle
prior to listing on Ebay at a local garage. This included brake work and front end work. I can provide for you a write-up of the parts and labor and copies of
related paperwork from the previous owner.

As with any car that is over 50 years old,
there are expected wear issues – some pitting on the chrome,
the passenger side window is cracked, a scratch or paint wrinkle
noted on the front side of the car, steering wheel cover cracked.
All of these wear issues are detailed in pictures shown
and links shown and do not affect the running ability of the vehicle.
It is the responsibility of the bidder to view all pictures
and to arrange an independent appraisal.
