1969 Pontiac Trans Am Re-Creation Show Car

This is a head turner, a super sharp '69 Trans Am tribute car! Full 100% frame-off restoration, 3600 man have gone into meticulously restoring this fine car!

Log book from Jan 31 1969 repairs throughout life of car, 1st owner was Elizabeth Nagle, Wilmington DE -has original build sheet, car was originally green on green.

This car was taken down to the bare metal and all new after market parts were used. Over 300 parts were replaced, including floor pans, full quarters, trunk pan, roll pan, lights, chrome bumpers, trunk, windshield, gas tank, fuel pump, etc. to name a few. Side rear birds do light up.

Bits of info about this particular model design:

The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am turned 30 in 1999, and Pontiac celebrated with a special, limited run of white Trans Ams trimmed in blue stripes. That's pretty much what they did for the car's 25th anniversary, and it helps point out that the Trans Am is the longest-running "performance" nameplate in the United States. (There was no 1983 Corvette, and the Camaro Z28 went on hiatus from 1975 until mid-1977.)

I do my best to accurately describe each item. I also spend a lot of time taking pictures and finding the right ones to put in each one of my auctions. I know your purchase of the item I list is based on these pictures, so I do my absolute best at describing and listing the vehicle. Many times other pictures are available, so feel free to ask if you would like to see others. Please remember, as we can not possibly list every flaw, we can not list every positive either. We do not plan to discount the sale once the deal is made. Unless there is an obvious issue that was undisclosed. We will be fair, however.

This is a final sale with no written, express or implied warranties. We do our best to accurately describe the condition of the vehicle you are interested in. All vehicles may be viewed pre-listing end and we encourage all buyers to inspect the car at pick-up to ensure there are no disappointments after the sale. Once the bill of sale is signed, the sale is final and any chances you had to inspect the car prior to completing the sale is waived. You are then making the purchase as is. <p>

If you are concerned about a professional inspection being performed, we can work with you to have this done on any vehicle we have listed. This is another step we take to insure the buying of a car we list goes smoothly. Classic cars are tough to list, many owners do not know all of the issues a car has. Similar to new cars. There are no warranties.

With deposits, payment, etc. – plan to follow the listing exactly unless you have permission prior to the end of the auction. Payment must be made within 7 days, pick-up can be put off, but please let us know your intention at the time of purchase. If you have any questions, please email me before bidding.
