I bought this #1177 car brand new on August 17, 1999. It has been stored in a conditioned garage since new. It has only been wet about three times since new, hence the perfect paint condition. I have always just wiped it clean with a damp cloth after each use. Obviously it has NEVER been in the rain. This car is 1 of 1600 30th Anniversary cars built. That would be: 1 of 1500 sold in the USA, 1 of 535 convertibles built, 1 0f 500 convertibles sold in the USA, and 1 of 172 built with a 6-speed AND HURST shifter. This car was built with EVERY available option. The only modifications are the custom made engine covers which simply pop off in about 5 minutes and a cold air intake which can be replaced with the original (comes with car) in about 10 minutes. Car still smells new inside; fresh and clean as the day it left the factory. I have more documentation, memorabilia, spare parts, etc. than you can imagine.
