1966 Shelby GT350 Carryover MCA Gold Concourse For Sale
![]() This Shelby muscle car for sale has been shown times.
The first 252 GT-350s for 1966 were "carry-over" cars. They had the 1965 Ford Mustang Bodies and 1965 Ford Mustang serial numbers under their Shelby serial numbers. They had mostly 1965 features including standard Koni shock and Engines painted black. Blue engines did not occur in 1966 until after these 252 "carry-over" models were produced. 1966 production was 1373 fastbacks including (2) prototypes and (4) drag cars and (252) "carry-over" models with Ford Mustang 1965 bodies. The end result was the best of the 65 racing components and the much prettier more desirable 66 bodies. Here is a link to a video and some detailed pictures of
my 66 Shelby GT350 Carryover # 6S208. Best of
both worlds, very rare. Many collectors compare these cars to 3 digit 65's with the benefit of the carryovers being rarer. Outstanding 4 years restoration with personal attention by Pete Geisler Sr. and Jr. of Orlando Mustang which is one of the most respected Shelby shops in the country. Scored 695 out of 700 Gold in the
Mustang Club of America Trailered Concourse class at the 2007 Augusta MCA
Nationals. It was then further detailed for another 2 months to correct any
deductions. 2 huge binders of documentation on the car. Original motor, transmission and rear. These cars rarely are available for sale, and when they are, there's are usually many issues and excuses. This is a MCA Gold Concourse restored, SAAC Division 2 Gold Level, original drivetrain car with rock solid documentation. These are the cars to own as a top notch investment. In Shelby Registry with no stories and Ford vin verified with Howard Pardee of SAAC. Do not settle for cars with stories or excuses. Truly ONE of the
BEST. Sold as is where is. I am a private collector, not a dealer. Please call me with serious inquiries only at 571-334-0799. Auto Transport Quote |
